Otto Wallin vs Lucas Browne March 28th.

Post by oogiebe »

Looks like Wallin will be facing Browne. I find it interesting to see how Wallin performs given his decent effort vs Fury. I'm sure Wallin will win, but in what way. Thoughts?

I was hoping David Price would fight Browne in UK.

Browne looked shot - Dave Allen emptied him with 1 body shot and he was lucky v Sokolowski at Trump Turnberry show few weeks earlier - struggled badly even at that level.

He’s a name now with decent record for fighters.

He’ll end up 34-12-1 like King Pin Johnson in 18-24 months.

I see Walin stopping him by accumulation say round 5 or 6. Walin will find him and will work him and with his tight guard will be able to negate Brownes power....in my opinion.

It's amusing to me how you never bother mentioning a certain youtuber that is your primary source for all your news tips

But back to topic. It's a good fight, that gets them both in the ring again.

I would like to see Wallin get a chance at climbing the rankings. It was a double edge sword performing so well against Fury.

I take Wallin

He's pretty neutral on his reporting. Not that I agree with everything that he says. But he is good in that he does engage with criticism; within reason...

Anyway, the guy clearly puts a lot of work into his content, so he deserves a mention from the OP

I've mentioned Boxing Squared several times in posts. Great channel. One of many I frequent. This news didn't originate with him, but he did cover it. Thanks for posting! :TU:

Not a huge fan of Hatmanstrikesback as I think he's a bit biased. I 'frequent' Boxing Squared; Rummy's Corner; Motividia; Right Hook Boxing (rather new); Mayweather Channel as their predictions vids are hilarious!...et al. PBC makes really good vids too.

BFTB is also very biased. Can you guess who there? I just like fair and balanced like the channels I listed.

Browne has never been anything special. And now he's not even at his best. Wallin will destroy him.

Wallin will dismantle him. Browne is good for domestic fights in Australia, that is all.

I prefer the biased channels, at least they are obvious about it. For example there is no mistaking favouritism shown toward Whyte by SportingIcons. But then you can just look to someone on the other side of the argument and figure things out for yourself.

I am very suspicious of any youtuber that portrays themselves as being balanced and fair, as they never are. Generally I have found that if I start to think a channel has no bias, it probably matches my own.

Anyway what ranking do you think Wallin will get should he beat Browne? It's a shame we don't have that vote anymore, it was a fun argument.

Agreed. I miss that thread too. Regarding Wallin, fighting Browne won't move him up in my mind no matter the outcome. I would like to see Otto step it up next time out. Not sure what we have there with him.
