US HW Prospect Roney Hines back in action
US HW Prospect Roney Hines back in action
Roney Hines 7-0 (5) is back in action on February 8th as part of a huge but midling card in Daytona Beach, FLA. HIs opponent will be Terrell Jamal Woods, a 'usual suspect.' The 24 year old Hines hasn't shown that special something as of yet, but he's still young and has good size. Hopefully we'll see some development this year.

Good to see Hines getting back in action after a 7-month layoff, longest of his career. Woods is a very active veteran journeyman who has only been stopped once in his last 32 bouts (over a 3 1/2-year span). Should be a good chance for Roney to get some rounds under his belt, since this will be his first 6-round bout and Woods has a decent chin.oogiebe wrote: ↑26 Jan 2020, 17:50 Roney Hines 7-0 (5) is back in action on February 8th as part of a huge but midling card in Daytona Beach, FLA. This is only the 2nd fight card ever held at the Hard Rock in Daytona Beach, one of the prime vacation spots in Florida. Both have been promoted by Christy Martin, former female boxing star in the 1990s.

Foney Hines is officially off my radar after another underwhelming performance in SD win over Johnnie Langston. As far as I'm concerned, there is only one young HW prospect in the pipeline.
