Does anyone know what his plans are at the moment? He hasnt fought this year, is he just having a break?

Probably having a break, his last fight was a real barn burner, he took some heavy shots. From memory wasnt there a nasty clash of heads / lump on johns head / eye ?

Yeah a venomous snake by all accounts, but the fighter should know better. He is the one suffering the most.

I see the BBBC has made a final eliminator to take place between John Murray v Ricky Burns by the end of October 2006 puse bids to be in by 12th July.

I know he has always claimed to be a Super Feather - but I don't know how the BBBoC can place Murray in an eliminator bout. According to this site, he has never fought at 9st 4 and has even won a title at Lightweight.
