I'm not so sure the beating was any worse than the one Joshua received from Ruiz. I agree though Wilder's age works against him and everyone he comes up against now will know that if you can walk him down he doesn't know what to do. I wonder if that is an issue stemming from when you're already 6'7 and 220lbs and stupidly powerful. Who the hell is going to want to pressure a guy like that in the gym?margaret thatcher wrote: ↑23 Feb 2020, 03:15I think AJ is a better schooled boxer. Wilder is more athletically reliant of the two, and after that type of beating at almost 35 I think the trajectory favours Josh
Maybe someone can fill me in but does Wilder's team just suck? I know Breland was a world champ but they don't always make good trainers. Or is it that he doesn't listen because he feels he doesn't have to? Are they teaching him the correct stuff and he is trying to learn but can't grasp it? His technique lets him down in every fight. The smart thing I have seen from him is throwing punches at varying speeds.
