I think Wilder is much tougher than AJ, with more heart as well. He's just not a skilled boxer.Ricky wrote: ↑23 Feb 2020, 12:58Fightnight Scores wrote: ↑23 Feb 2020, 12:01 Ahhh the dangers of a bold statement/thread topic![]()
Fun read this one. Least Ricky isn't in hiding![]()
I got slated the first time when I said Andy Ruiz had a solid chance of knocking out AJ. The likes of Danconnolly weren't so smug in the aftermath of that one.
Fwiw, i still don't agree with people shïtting on Wilder to the extent they do.. He was warming into round 2 and got caught with the ear shot. If anything he proved some top level toughness that AJ sure lacks.
Why is Wilder's Boxing Ability so Underrated?

I'm not going to mock you for backing a losing horse, god knows I've done it enough down the years. The fact is, on another day the fight could well have gone defferently.Ricky wrote: ↑23 Feb 2020, 12:58Fightnight Scores wrote: ↑23 Feb 2020, 12:01 Ahhh the dangers of a bold statement/thread topic![]()

But I can't agree that Wilder showed more toughness than AJ.
Both men took awkward shots that they couldn't fully recover from, both men lasted several rounds despite clearly being out of sorts and both men ended up getting stopped on their feet.

Watch him fight and youl probably understand....
The excuse of he only got into boxing at 20 really shouldn't wash anymore as he's now 34...
Although he has Improved slightly his boxing skills, however, he still looks incredibly CLUMSY...
Also his padded card doesn't help his case, as his statistics are disproportionate to his level of boxing skill..
