According to the "Evening Courier" of Camden, NJ, this was Gorman's third win vs. Finch in three tries. The "Evening Courier" described Rodgers as "a poor specimen from Manayunk". The "Evening Courier" said that "O'Brien showed an astonishing ability to absorb punishment." This was Urban's professional debut, and he knocked down Angelo six times.
