Will Wlad come back now......

Post by stujones »

I know a new thread on it...... but Wlad always mentions the rematch with Fury in "hyping" a possible return - just wondering if this will get his juices going.

I think it's way less likely now Fury is dangerous. He was a lot less a dangerous prospect before Saturday

No chance. He's too smart.

And besides, he'd no longer have any control over the event if he reached championship level like he used to, he'd be an old gun for hire.

True but at the same time I think the only fight he wants is to fight for the Undisputed #1 in the division...... its as undisputed as it will ever be without all 4 belts with one owner right at this moment.

He sort went quiet on the hype after AJ lost to Ruiz.

That defeat to Fury annoys him and perhaps he might feel that this "new" Fury (I suspect he will fight / train very differently for Wlad) might be more made for him. He has faced and nullified punchers before.

He hasn't won a fight for 5 years and is soon to be 44 years old. He won't be nullifying any championship level fighter. As I would hope he'll be fully aware of.

Not sure why people expect Klitschko to be a force at 44 when he was losing to these guys years ago when he was still active

not to fight fury

maybe if wilder had won and fury had walked off into the sunset it would be a possibility , but either AJ or Fury take him out after such an absence.

Retired fighters love a little attention especially after a significant event. Look at Floyd

I didn’t like how his body looked vs Joshua. He had a strange, scrawny back. He looked odd.

Sentimental performance as he clipped Joshua when he was in trouble himself, but in all honesty he didn’t actually go for it too many times in that fight. No way he has the energy at this stage.

Was SugarHill a trainer at the time Manny died?

Just wondering why Wlad didn’t go with SugarHill instead of Banks.

Fury's performance on Saturday likely will put an end to Wlad's thoughts about a return.
