Why don't top boxers work as refs or judges
After they retire, some famous boxers become trainers or TV commentators, but none seem to go into judging. Any ideas why?

Because being a referee or judge is extra work. They would much rather prefer to sit and TALK about the boxing, rather than be involved in a particular match up.
I feel most boxers, once they hang them up, they’re done.

Jersey Joe, and his inability to know what 10 seconds is might've blown that for a lot of 'em
