The worst excuse of defeated boxer you have ever heard ?

Post by ValMar »

I can not believe. Did Wilder really claim that his ring-walk uniform had been too heavy and had weakened his legs ?

If this is true, David Hay (with his toe excuse) was very intelligent man comparing to Wilder.

What do you think about ?

I recall someone on Manny's team mentioned itchy socks, was that the one?

Wilder's was pretty hilarious though, hard to top. I like the way he got into describing the batteries and stuff

I know this sounds crazy, but during Wilder's walkout, I was wondering if the red lights around the eyes messed with his vision and equilibrium. And he was walking slow and a bit off to the ring. Not saying the outcome of the fight would have been different if he didn't wear that. But he may have been affected a little.

Excuses excuses.....as I watched the walkouts and then saw what Wilder was wearing, I said to my son who was watching with me, that Wilder is not warmed up. Fury took a long time to get in the ring. Wilder had to have that stupid outfit on while that was going on. It was so bulky I would bet a million dollars he was not staying warmed up and throwing punches while back in the dressing room during Fury's walkout. Then he does his long slow walk to the ring with the rapper who sucked. While Wilder was not throwing punches for a long time, Fury was able to move around the ring and throw punches staying / getting warmed up as Wilder came in the ring and then had to take some time to get the stupid outfit off. All the while Fury is moving around.
Earlier in the night on Saturday, I had a boxer in a golden glove tournament. Our fight was like 12th on the card but there were walkovers and boxers that didn't show. I check and find out, we are now the 5th fight. I got my guy ready and good and warmed up. The other coach has no clue their fight is moved up. All of sudden they find out their guy is up next, they rush him over to get gloves on and he has to get in the ring right away. No warm up. I tell my boxer to jump on him, he's not ready and that's what we did and my guy stops him in the first round.
Wilder is a joke saying the 40 lb outfit took his legs. He's 230 lbs. Military members often carry way more than 40 lb packs as they do what they do. As for firing Mark Breland, I could see that for only one reason which was not for throwing the towel in. He saved Wilder's life but he never made Wilder better with his fundamentals which have sucked since his amateur days. Maybe working with a prima dona pro...Wilder didn't want to work on fundamentals but he's a one trick pony and that's his right hand. He has no defense or technique on movement or just working the basics. I don't know the background of the white guy in the corner, Jay something but he probably should be the one to go.
Props to Fury to make the adjustments to easily win the fight.

I don't think it's crazy to say that it affected his performance. But it's crazy to say that it affected him badly enough to perform tas bad he did. Wilder would have gotten beat no matter what he was wearing.

Worst and most pathetic excuse ever in boxing. Be a man and admit you got splattered like a fly by the better fighter. Wilder is done imo, the aura has been shattered, he'll end up getting done again, what a fraud 🤣

How is he a fraud?

He's a fighter with a hellacious right hand who got beat by a better fighter. Nothing he had achieved before is somehow fake because he now got beaten by a better fighter.

Fury is actually good. Way to take that from him. You awful fans are a microcosm of why boxing sucks ass now. We used to recruit people to watch, that speech wouldn't do it. Wilder is a limited guy with a ton of heart and a big right.

Now get THIS;

IF Fury had lost, then imagine how gracious he would be in defeat (if beaten fair and square)

Wilder is just a bad feckin loser.. just has a stupid massive ego that was smashed to pieces and he can’t take like a man.

Never rated the guy. I’m preying for trilogy.. just to cement his massive lack of talent and ability.

The result would have been the same had Wilder sashayed to the ring in a tiny pink bikini.

Fury beat the sh1t out of him. End of story.

For once twitter mockery is spot on. "I carried more in my backpack to school!" "In the army that was what you started off with in your ruck sack" "Why didn't your trainer say to you this was a stupid idea?"

Don't you understand fighters at all? He got emasculated and he has to come up with a reason why he's going to murder fury. If course it's stupid, it's the needed mentality. After Tyson lights him up again he'll have to deal with it.
