“He didn’t hurt me at all, but the simple fact is my uniform was way too heavy for me,” Wilder told Yahoo Sports. “I didn’t have no legs from the beginning of the fight. In the third round, my legs were just shot all the way through. But I’m a warrior and people know that I’m a warrior.”
“A lot of people were telling me: ‘it looked like something was wrong with you.’ Something was, but when you’re in the ring you have to bluff a lot of things. I tried my best to do so. I knew I didn’t have the legs because of my uniform,” Wilder said.

He’s a bluffer alright 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah what a pussy, after he take the uniform off he must flight over the ring....

I was only able to put it on [for the first time] the night before but I didn't think it was going to be that heavy. It weighed 40, 40-some pounds with the helmet and all the batteries.
I don't know...somehow when he mentions the batteries it makes me double up...he's like a kid with a Christmas present...not a WBC HW champion.

I do like Wilder's fights and he's shown himself to be a tremendous puncher and a very hard man. I hope he comes back. I would love to see him in with Whyte, Rivas, Chisora, Usyk, Parker, Ruiz...even AJ.

I fear Fury III will finish him for good.

If a white man came out to music about white power etc they would be a racist. After his entrance I was praying he would get chinned. I understand history of america and especially Alabama etc but its hate preaching and hate breeds hate. Maybe it's just the way I took it but just seemed a bit of a joke the words of it all. Took it all to far.

Yeah the batteries bit tickled me too. Not sure if it's tongue in cheek or a genuine excuse. Of his legs were too tired to box after a ring walk then that's even more concerning than a possible burst ear or whatever was being touted. His performance was abysmal.

In fairness to Wilder it was one of the best entrances I've seen and I'm not a big fan of rappers. He looked like a terminator coming to the ring and I'm sure black people appreciated the tribute.

Totally agree. I blame his weight and possibly his training methods myself. Not for the loss, but the nature of it.

His lack of form by the third really was shocking considering the level of action, and it wasn't all down to his skill level. He was physically done by the fourth (unusually so for him) and almost an open target, but whereas a puncher would've finished him he had to endure several more rounds of punishment.

This is one of the all time best excuses, up there with Tarver’s steak being poisoned prior to the humbling at the hands of Hopkins.

Wlad was convinced his food had been tampered with, after he ran out of energy pummelling Lamon Brewster, who turned on the heat after Wlad punched himself out.

The outfit was ridiculous though, I have no idea what it was even meant to be, let alone the meaning behind it.

The first time I watched it I didn't even notice the towel come in. It looked like Bayliss saw Wilder on shakey less with a glazed over look in his eyes and a limp guard and decided he couldn't defend himself any longer.

I thought the stoppage was fair even before finding out his corner threw in the towel.

For Breland to be made a scapegoat for doing the right thing is disgusting and if there is a rematch it wouldn't surprise me if Fury offered him a job in his camp, just to piss team Wilder off.

WTF was it even though? Do black people have any clue what he was dressed up as? Does he even know? He looked like a darknut from Zelda

Black people probably like 'why that fool's batteries so heavy?'

It looked to me like a burst ear due to his shite legs and falling about but it just turns out he had to carry some batteries into the ring for Black History and was knackered after it. Poor guy.
