Probably yes. However, he's more, than just a mover. He's more well-rounded boxer.

Personally I though Vitali K was very nimble for a such huge man.

Especially so during his second coming and as the years rolled-on...…..admittedly he was not dealing with anyone like Wilder, but Vitali did move well for a massive guy who was 6-7 and often well over the 17 stone mark as well.

Not as fluid or cute as Fury for sure.....but during some of his later fights Vitali does move nicely and is far from stuck to the canvas or just moving back-and-forth in dead straight lines.

Come to think of it.....I think Vitali v Tyson F would have been a belter, especially as Vitali had a better chin than his brother and arguably just a bit more spite and dog in him.

I never read that? Where did you see that? Ali himself said he was 6ft 2...

I still find it amazing that a bloke that looks like that can be as fleet of foot and nimble, just defies nature.

Larry Holmes was often listed at 6:4, though Boxrec and others list him at 6'3. Obviously he moved better than Fury.

For whatever reason, it seems like there are a lot of guys that are right at 6'3 and were good movers, but not many above.
I guess technically, Pinklon Thomas was 6'3 1/2. Tyrell Biggs was 6'5. Carl Williams 6'4. Bugner was 6'4.

Fury moves very well for his size, then again wilder moves in quicksand. Tyson has a very high ring iq, not sure if he moves better than Lennox or if he fights guys he can move how he pleases.

I think maybe young lighter Lewis was just a bit quicker in his feet than this Fury, but older Lewis, a tad slower certainly than Wlad fight Fury

It's tough to quantify. Lennox was pretty impressive moving and avoiding exchanges with evander for 24 RDS. Fury is really smart and tough. Before the first fight, that I lost 2k on, I was saying smothering wilder was his best bet. Just tough to see how great the movement is against guys that don't punch.

I think Fury controls distance so well with the flicker-feints that he makes people seem (even) slower cos they struggle getting their weight moving forward consistently and get rooted to the spot twitching and tense at feints whilst Fury stays relaxed

Wlad looked like a great mover vs AJ and more impressively against Haye, who can move himself. Against Fury his footwork lost all conviction so he looked like a much slower guy than other fights IIRC

No question he has the ability to slow down output, just the outputs are so meager now it's tough for me to fully judge. He looked wide open against wlad to me. Wildly as I cheered I wasn't impressed. He's proved me wildly wrong, just not sure how much yet.

Why don't we start comparing punch output between nowadays and the 90's ffs. It's night and day.

These guys are landing 8 punches per round. Lewis landed like 20 per round vs Morrison. Threw 119 punches in the first three rounds.

Both Jess Willard and Primo Carnera could move around pretty good in the ring.
