Just looking at the bids received for the IBRAGIMOV-AUSTIN fight . The purse bid was won by Warrior Boxing Promotions with a bid of $810,000.
the next highest was a bid by Don King of $100,000.
So how do bids work? are they known by the other promoters or are they done in private and all opened at the same time, so rival promoters can't see what your bidding?
Just in this case either the fight has been completly over valued by one promoter ,or under valued by the other.
It just seems a huge difference in the bids
Purse bids question
Re: Purse bids question
The other promoters don't know rival bids. In this case I think King might be nearer the mark.topper123 wrote:Just looking at the bids received for the IBRAGIMOV-AUSTIN fight . The purse bid was won by Warrior Boxing Promotions with a bid of $810,000.
