Attendance: "a meagre audience of perhaps 1000 spectators", according to the "Evening Courier" of Camden, NJ.

This card was plagued by a number of late substitutions, resulting in Goss agreeing to face the much heavier Hybert. According to the "Evening Courier", Goss "took a terrific lacing". Five bouts were advertised but only four were contested.
