this has gone to purse bids and so may not end up in the UK after all .

according to bob arum , pulev is against a UK fight and wants it in the US where he feels it will be a fairer set up

Pulev was deported last week from the US. Doubt he will fight there anytime soon.

Maybe it was to do with the incident with the journalist or just an overstay on visa?

More of less confirmed now.

I have a feeling this will be a boring fight.

I feel that from now on. AJ is gonna simply box his way to wins. Nothing wrong with that as long as you win.

Pulev can still be dangerous here. He hasn’t been tested for a long time himself, which is a shame, he could have have some decent fights against other top 10 ranked opponents.

He’s going to box his way to wins... based on one smart performance against an immovable object?

No. Joshua KO4.

Would image this will be similar to the Povetkin/martin fight. Pulev chinny even Hughie Fury rocked him.

retirement fund for pulev
nothing more

he hasnt been particularly active in the last 4 years and since being knocked out by Klit his toughest opponent was a demotivated chisora , who would smash the the life out of him now .

AJ KO in some style after a few rounds of sparring .

not worth a £25 ppv though !

Sky have confirmed the fight now. Spurs stadium. Box Office.

No price has been listed yet as far as I can see. Unless someone knows?

Not exactly an inspiring fight for Joshua, but what is outside of Fury or Wilder.

Right, but those are tough guys who it makes sense to box cautiously against. Pulev has his chin on a platter and we’ve seen he can be hurt and stopped.

If Joshua is strictly methodical, it'll probably be easier for Pulev, he can also fight this way. Joshua needs to sharpen here. Wlad-Pulev is probably a blueprint.

The problem for Pulev is his style is all wrong to beat Joshua. Normally he tries to box behind the jab but that’s not going to work against the superior reach and skills of AJ. So he needs to get involved. Interestingly that’s what he did against Wlad so he must know making it a slugfest is his only remote hope.

I predict he’s going to come out aggressive like he did vs Wlad, and get decapitated on the way in for his trouble.

Yh. Ur right.

He’s guaranteed a top undercard on the Whyte-Pov card too. But who’s he gonna use to fill that?

Properly rocked him back on his heels. Great jab. Tailor made for AJ though, he needs to box clever. WK was on great form that night, better than AJ now IMO.
