Need help: Gans-Nelson 1

Post by klompton »

Hi guys, Im doing a digital restoration of the complete Gans-Nelson 1 film for the 100th anniversary of the fight coming up this September. The film is chopped up and pieces of it have been edited back into places where they dont belong. As a result I need detailed accounts of the fight from newspapers of the day. I already have referee George Silers round by round account which hit most papers the next day via the newswire. If anyone has any round by round acccounts that dont originate from George Siler I would love to see them. Also, any photos would be great as well. The project is already looking very nice. The speed of the film has been corrected so that the rounds are now three minutes and the fighters motions are much more fluid. We are also in the process of zooming in on the fighters so that they fill the frame (the film was originally shot the Miles brothers from several rows back. Several clips that were taken out for shows such as "greatest fights of the century" and others have been edited back in where they rightfully belong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
