From memory Jeff was good poster, knowledgeable and didn’t bring any ego in tow. I’m never a big fan of guys making a comeback at his age but I hope he’s doing well in life and is happy

Never a big fan of guys coming back after a long spell out but I've no idea how old he is, as mentioned he was a Boxereccer and a sound lad to boot so I wish him all the best

Thomas always came across on here as a fella who felt he could have been a champion.

Reading his wiki page, it certainly suggests that he was someone who very much underachieved!

When you feel like that, esp if you are in the gym, it's a hard sport to walk away from.

He has done well to get his license back, the board are normally very strict when it comes to relicensing older boxers.

Bloody hell, Thomas from Blackpool who fought for the Irish title back in the day? Used to be active on Twitter @jeffrochamp or something. Was wondering what happened to him.

used to post on her as Jazzy Jeff or something , im friends with him on Facebook so see his regular updates over the years.
he keeps himself in shape and had a couple of fights recently on some circuit and knocked out an ex pro as well.
he dabbled in a bit of MMA aswell , think 1 fight a few years back.

think he just really missed the sport and thinking why not give it an other run.

think hoping to get to Central area title or something to go out on " No Regrets"

I mind you back when you were posting and I’m sure you were active pro then. Good luck and as a 41yr old who still thinks he can do a bit, I applaud you for getting in and doing it again. It can’t be easy :salut:

Better gym, learning how to win. Most go 50-50 to begin with, Khan was 5-5 as an amateur before his massive run. I sparred a lot of good guys, took my licks and just improved over time. I think your always learning which is why I’ve come back again because even though perhaps I’m not able to attain the same physical gains as before (though I think I can) I’ve continued to learn and improve.

Time will tell but I’m just enjoying it and having fun,
