BT definitely, the content they produce is brilliant. The build up shows etc are stellar. Sky need some fresh faces and new ideas

BT obviously, Adam Smith has ruined enough boxing by now

Wouldn’t you also be swayed by who you wanted to win as you can imagine Sky being very pro AJ.

BT have offered 1 York Hall and 2 x PPV by 11th April this year - that’s absolutely shite service for Boxing Fans.

Taylor in May is for Top Rank.

It cost us allegedly them getting involved - id say BT have been terrible for UK boxing.

Sky need some new faces in because a lot of them talk shite and offer nothing interesting to say apart from boring cliches we've heard a million times already

Their content blows BT out of the water though, BT shows closer to the amount of Channel 5 than it does Sky, they've got a great team of pundits though

I have to agree with a lot of the above. Sky’s production and style is stuck in the early 2000’s. They just lack innovation – it seems they stick to a formula, especially for their VT’s and promos and essentially each one is the same where they just paint by numbers.

BT on the other hand have shown innovation, offering fresh and high quality content for each of their big fight nights. I like the presentation team too. Sky’s just seems like a love in with often poorly prepped ex boxers.

I’d go with BT. However, in the future I believe DAZN’s shoulder programming and YT content along with their general presentation is going to blow both Sky and BT out of the water. They just need the actual fights to go with it. And listening to Eddie Hearns not committal interview with IFL at the weekend he sounded very slippery and half hearted about his loyalty to sky. Almost certainly he will not renew his contract and go with DAZN.

I just like Barry Jones as a commentator/analyst. He is miles better than anyone else. I like the BT presentation team too.

I like SKY team, Anna, Johnny, etc... It's just the commentary. They never stop talking through the fight and essentially end up saying the same things over and over again. They don't need to fill up every single beat of the fight with jibber-jabber. It's not the radio.

I've said it before but the SKY team seem incapable of seeing things differently once they decide one guy is going to win. Then they can have 2 or 3 analysts all saying the same thing over and over. I feel Barry Jones is able to see things from both sides...

For me apart from paulie malignaggi and maybe Macklin the sky team are garbage and suck up adam smith for some reason. Id pay for it with BT only to shut sky and mr hearn right up.

OK, that has got nothing to do with the topic of this thread though. BT would do a better job. Much better content in this build up and not just the same old company men like Sky who are just embarrassing.

I don't think the person read the first post. Just read the thread title, went straight to posting a reply.

I tend to watch most boxing events on a delay, so fast forward most of the punditry.

The commentary on BT is much better, Jones and Rawling are very good and it is always nice to see big Ron lurking about somewhere with a mic.

The Sky shows start OK with Clarke, but as soon as the big names enter the ring Smith crawls out from under some rock and starts pissing his pants everytime someone lands a jab.

I voted for Sky though, as I voted before reading the OP and assumed it was a thread on who has the better shows generally, on that front there is no real competition.

Sky seemed to make a conscious decision 2 or 3 years ago to dumb down their coverage and aim it squarely at drunk casuals

BT's coverage is how sports broadcasting used to be, serious minded content for people genuinely interested in proceedings

The sky coverage is abysmal. Malinaggi aside. And the love in with Eddie Hearn is cringe worthy.

Bt every time.

I really can’t stand that Sky persist with some of the people they do. I can get away with Froch, Bellew and Nelson when they’re impartial, but we need more Malinaggi’s, Roy Jones’ etc...sick of Adam Smith.

They leave behind whoever us fans take a liking to.

I’d like to see more Dave Allen and Peter Fury.
