And it was. Chavez vs Taylor, was an all time classic fight. Those who watched live on HBO will never forget it.

Your thoughts of this great fight.

I was a big Meldrick fan and I was gutted for him at the time. You have to give JCC credit for turning it round though. One thing about that fight - it was stopped with two seconds left, they say. It never looked that way to me. It looked more like 8 seconds.

I just noticed something I never noticed before about the end of the fight. Meldrick Taylor never let go of the rope. His left arm was on it the whole time. Legitimate unbiased stoppage !

Great fight, terrible robbery. Not sure I'd say the fight of the 90s, but in the running.
