Love Fenech but their styles make me think Gamboa could go down but win a late KO, maybe 11. Could go the other way too. Great fight

Fenech prime was a handful, only a well schooled boxer would be able to stay with him.
He was in your face, aggressive, good chin the whole lot.
You gotta be switched on for those fighters.
Gamboa was explosive but showed few signs he could give and take it in the long term, superb skills and a boxer in need of an elite trainer and camp who never really got that.
Doubt he would have beat a prime Fenech.

My only hesitation was I think Fenech was prime at 122. Best weight for him. Gamboa speed and power at 126 would give him troubles. He certainly may be able to overcome him, that’s why I think it’s a tough fight to call. At 122 I think Fenech beats most everyone outside of Wilfredo Gomez, Morales and Barrera
