On the back on the Heavyweight tournament, which is coming to an end today.
Tomorrow is the beginning of the Middleweight legends.
Here are the 8 legends:
Sugar Ray Robinson (1)
Sugar Ray Leonard (2)
Marvin Hagler (3)
Carlos Monzon (4)
Jake LaMotta
Ronald Wright
Kelly Pavlik

Who wins this one?

The heart is saying Hagler and the gut is going with Monzon.

Hagler or Leonard depending on personal taste of judges.

These fights go the distance? I remember the hardest thing when I played those games was trying to carry someone to 10 or 12 RDS.

Lol is Vargas supposed to be that black dude on the right, looks like the black guy got the boot
And x2 on the carrying. For some reason all boxing video games basically make it hard as f@ck not to end in a knockout, just one of many of the unrealistic features riddiling them

Hoping for a Hagler V Monzon final; has always been my MW legends fantasy fight.

You’re right. Leonard was the 2nd seed, yet on the poster his fight is QF3.. it’s a set up.
We would have just gotten Robinson/Leonard in the semi’s anyway.

Title bout is better, just no visuals. Maybe I'll toss together a current welter tourney and rbr them. Anyone bored enough to read that?

I can’t believe a couple of blokes playing a cheap old video game can attract such massive viewership figures.
Hopefully they’ll develop a PS5 version of this game.

No idea, but the game doesn’t have a mode where the computer carries out the fights without human intervention.

Indeed, best game /or simulation for boxing nuts.
Fight night is fun. But, it is 9 years old now. And not seen a solid boxing game in years.

Claressa Shields said she was contacted to be in the next ea boxing game, for playstation 4, but that was mid last year. Lol watch her get the cover all to herself or something and have 100 stats and be the final boss. You even have to start with only partial health, because her brother and unc sucker puncher ya ass before round 1

Wasn’t Robinson a better Welterweight?
He was; Leonard too.
Leonard only had one fight at 160, albeit a hugely significant one.
