1. How often do you watch sports on TV?
Often
2. Which sports do you watch on TV?
Boxing, rugby, soccer, basketball, college football
3. Do you follow Amateur Boxing? Yes
4. Do you know the difference between Amateur and Professional Boxing?
Yes
If Yes, please explain:
Amateur boxing scoring is based solely on punches landed using 5 judges and a computer system and pro boxing is based on a 10 pt must system using 3 judges. Amateur boxers also wear thicker gloves, a top, and headgear and pro's do not. Those are the major differences.
5. Have you ever seen Amateur Boxing on TV? Yes
6. How do you rate Amateur Boxing on TV?
4 - It's not on often, but I've seen the Armed forces championships, the gold gloves, olympics, and goodwill games on TV, and they've all had pretty good coverage.
7. What would make you watch Amateur Boxing on TV?
It's exciting, fast-paced... there's no money involved so you don't get all the drama you do in the pro's with promoters and such. Also, there's an added factor whenever it's an internatonal competition and the boxer is representign an entire nation.
8. How can Amateur Boxing on TV be improved?
Giving the boxer's stories, showing how they got where they are... but most of all boxign on TV can be improved by actually being shown more than once a year.
9. How do you rate the scoring system used in Amateur Boxing?
4.
10. Do you think amateur boxing would be a better spectacle visually if we were able to see the head and face of the boxers?
No. It makes no difference.

Of course, but most of it has to do with the politics of it all, not the sport itself.
