It depends on which Laporte shows up..

When he was inspired he was a monster to behold (Salvador Sanchez, Rocky Lockridge, Mario Miranda, Ruben Castillo, Wilfredo Gomez, Julio Cesar Chavez, Azumah Nelson and Billy Costello)

(Alas, he did not beat Sanchez, Gomez, Chavez or Nelson IMO, Im just saying he fought them as if he was a fellow hall of famer)

When he was not inspired...ughhhh he could, and would, lose by wide margins..

You forgot Pedroza. I thought he won that fight. Sanchez and Wilfredo Gomez thoroughly outboxed him, but he stuck with all the others.

True about Pedroza...Sanchez and Gomez beat him by a lot but he was still fighting to win to the end both times...

All true. When Laporte was on he was a Beast and a threat to anyone. But I remember after he won the featherweight title he had a non title fight with veteran Gerald Hayes and lost an uninspired decision. But if he comes to fight I think he'd have any easy win against a game Johnson.
