BJS problem is that he comes across very very unlikeable. So even if he's getting a raw deal, he'll get no sympathy. He was obviously joking in the video. I found it amusing and the reactions have been over the top but when you have an unlikeable personality that's what happens. I remember back when Mayweather was asking Pacquaio to agree to blood testing to make the fight happen and you had virtually everyone coming out and saying how disgraceful Mayweather was and how he had no right to ask for the tests etc

I think a ban is outrageous. He is not a role model, he punches people in the face for a living. Equally I think being a role model is a choice and not a requirement for a boxer. Yes I totally don’t agree with the concept, being a crap role model may affect your sponsorship deals and fan allegiance but shouldn’t land you with a ban.
