Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
Sorry if this has already been done. It seems with all the coronaviris media i missed this, just seen it on YouTube now.
So after the Fury vs Wilder rematch, there was a bit of controversy surrounding possible glove tampering by Fury, with pictures and video clips showing highly unusual motion from Furys gloves. In an interesting take, Steve Cunningham has posted this video on YouTube detailing what he thinks Fury was doing with his gloves. Sliding his hand out of the glove slightly so he can connect with his knuckle outwith the padding.

What do you make of this? Is it plausible he could have been doing this, or is Cunningham talking b*&%ocks?

A load of bollox, he beat him fair and square the first time whilst not even 50%, battered him the 2nd time.
Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
I think for his glove to behave in that way, his hand had to be out of the main glove to some degree, how else could the glove behave like that? I'm all ears to any other possible explination.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 11:13 A load of bollox, he beat him fair and square the first time whilst not even 50%, battered him the 2nd time.
At this juncture, to me, it would seem either his hand was out of the glove unintentionally, or, it was an intentional move.
I'm not trying to raise controversy by posting this, i'm genuinely interested to get feedback, and see what could possibly explain the floppy gloves. Cunningham coming forward with this video raises serious questions IMO, and needs discussed.
I genuinely want to know why his gloves behaved that way.

Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
Didnt someone accuse Fury of using tampered gloves in sparring not long ago?
Cant remember who it was but I'm pretty they said Fury was using gloves with no padding for his spars

You have to be in position to land these supposed illegal shots. Fury trounced him. He'll prob never be the same man.

Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
Not closing your fist and throwing slappy punches like Fury often does will make gloves look floppy
Also that miniscule footage was mostly from the first fight yet , I've seen a lot of bomb squaders get it mixed up lol.
Fury beat his ass in the rematch, but only due to illegal floppy slaps in the first fight

Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
Pathetic and butthurt from USS and all the bomb squaders posting these vids on youtube etc. Look at that preview shot, there is nothing at all wrong with the images used, it's just a guy not closing the glove. we all know Fury is a bit of a slapper and has been for years. remember the Chis rematch? he was throwing those open handed lead shots all night
ask yourself, why does this only come up now after Wilder loses if Fury has been doing it at least a couple years and did it their first fight. fanbois by werking hard to spread these videos because of dat 59-52 butthurt

Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
And I am very curious, can someone find more than like half a second of footage from the first fight as 'evidence' ? And what exactly is a glove supposed to look like when it is open across a guys face like that in the image on the right? what is a completely open handed left hook supposed to look like with 'clean' gloves
tbh, floppy slaps might top heavy blackpride outfit

fair play to cunningham, i agree with him. pretty obvious really. although i think fury has wilders number regardless but i agree with uss cunningham here. people are showing their bias by not even looking into this objectively but we are on a brit forum

So answer some questions then if you want to be investigative and objective, I posed them earlier but you didn't respond to any yet still claim no one is willing to talk about it LOL. Hopefully you are over your butthurt from round 12 of the first fight and are fully prepared for this new oneTheLeprechaun wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 14:20 fair play to cunningham, i agree with him. pretty obvious really. although i think fury has wilders number regardless but i agree with uss cunningham here. people are showing their bias by not even looking into this objectively but we are on a brit forum
What is an open hand glove across a guy's face supposed to look like? How does it differ from the picture shown there on the bottom right?
What is an open handed left hook from an arm puncher supposed to look like? How does it differ from what's shown there?
Why hasn't Fury been cauught by officials or opponent teams if he's been doing this for years? Not like he was A-side either time vs Wilder either
Is there not more than this miniscule 'evidence', picked largely from the tiniest snippets of first fight and not Wilder's beating?
If this happened before, why were there no accusations for any specific of Fury's previous fights until Wilder got battered? Perhaps some good ole hurt hiney?

Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
Btw, weird to say you think Fury has Wilder's number when you've argued that Fury lost the first fight both on points and on KO (25 second count lol). So that's a win for Wilder already even with this supposed extremely generous ref and Fury cheating, did you forget your views on the first fight already? Of course it should be 2-0 Wilder because Fury shoulda been DQ'd for floppy slaps right lol (i lol, but surely if he did actually cheat he should be dq'd)
Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
The matter of his gloves is highly suspect, that is why it being discussed by fans and pro fighters alike around the world. What happened with his gloves needs to be understood, your not posing any answers yourself, just shooting down those who viewed the footage and believe he cheated.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 14:50 Btw, weird to say you think Fury has Wilder's number when you've argued that Fury lost the first fight both on points and on KO (25 second count lol). Lets asume for a second he was cheating, exactly as Cunningham described. Had Wilders face ended up looking like Cotto's, this would be a scandal on the scale of Margarito, right?
I'm not saying he was cheating, but i would like to understand what was going on. It should be investigated properly.
And if he was cheating, thats a highly dangerous stunt and deserves an outright ban.

Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
I'm posing legitimate questions. If it's so hard to answer them then the argument that he cheated really isn't that strong at all. People shouldn't cry that others won't discuss it, yet then totally refuse to engage in meaingful discussion.ALI wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 15:31The matter of his gloves is highly suspect, that is why it being discussed by fans and pro fighters alike around the world. Feel free to ask me any questions you'd like in return
What is an open glove on the face supposed to look like and how does it differ from the image on the bottom right above?
What is an open handed left hook from an arm puncher supposed to look like and how does it differ from above?
Why hasn't Fury been caught by officials or the teams of his opponents?
Why is the evidence so tiny and mixed up between fights?
Why hasn't this come out until just now that Wilder lost? There was never any accucsation that he used this cheating in a previous fight.

Ecept Wilder's face didn't end up looking like that and there is no track record of Fury being caught by officials or opponents teams with loaded gloves. We could apply your what if to literally any fight. Margarito had a scandal because he got caught in the dressing room by people watching him, it never happened to Fury and Fury hasn't been turning guys into gory puddles of blood (though he was one himself vs Otter!)
If Wilder's trainer caught Fury with confirmed cheating gloves or the commission caught the gloves after the fight, it would obviously be a totally different story, but guess what, the commission and Wilder's team and Wilder himself never raised any issues with it, only fanbois and salty Fury victims started after Wilder lost.
What if Fury put razors on his glove and then cut Wilder to shreds with them? What if Fury's aunt had wheels, would she be a train
Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
Seems to me that if this 'knucklegate' is true then Wilder's face would have shown way more damage then it did.

So rando Nick Asberry can easily see it, but Wilder's team, mr. excuses Wilder himself, and the commission don't catch Fury's fight gloves with anything? LOL
Stop the ducking!!

I even saw a vid that said that Fury had egg weights in his fists. I just don't get it.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 17:12So rando Nick Asberry can easily see it, but Wilder's team, mr. excuses Wilder himself, and the commission don't catch Fury's fight gloves with anything? LOL

Steve Cunningham—despite serving in the US navy, you know, sailing on ships over the horizon & stuff—is a Flat Earther.
If he told me the sky was blue I'd go outside & check for myself.
