Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
It does look suspect tbh but looks can be decieving can't they? Fury whipped him and gave him what has been a long time coming! Get over it and regroup or you'll let it ruin you!

Reading Steve's black israelite pride/white devil man instagram and social media, you can certainly see how he'd still be stung by a stoppage loss to a pasty whiteboi , I didn't know he was so 'out there'

Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
I thought Wilder won the first fight but as I understand it the issue with the gloves only refers to the first fight. I don't think uss cunningham is referring to the second fight there right? fury lost the first fight in my opinion. He received two 10-8 rounds which if you do the calculations means that he had to win 8 of the remaining 10 rounds to win the fight 114-112. I do not believe Fury won 8 of those 10 rounds. In the second fight he used completely different tactics, pushed Wilder back and bullied him into a stoppage at the midway point. It's fair to think Fury has his number after that performance. He left no questions unanswered there and Wilder humiliated himself after the fight with his costume excuse. That excuse shows he is mentally all over the place and feels Fury has his number. I put it in the same category as Haye's toe excuse. Haye was trying to con people into believing that he actually believed he would have won if his toe wasn't swollen.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 14:50 Btw, weird to say you think Fury has Wilder's number when you've argued that Fury lost the first fight both on points and on KO (25 second count lol). So that's a win for Wilder already even with this supposed extremely generous ref and Fury cheating, did you forget your views on the first fight already? Of course it should be 2-0 Wilder because Fury shoulda been DQ'd for floppy slaps right lol (i lol, but surely if he did actually cheat he should be dq'd)

I think you should rewatch uss cunningham as he shows how the glove is clearly displaced.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 14:24So answer some questions then if you want to be investigative and objective, I posed them earlier but you didn't respond to any yet still claim no one is willing to talk about it LOL. Hopefully you are over your butthurt from round 12 of the first fight and are fully prepared for this new oneTheLeprechaun wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 14:20 fair play to cunningham, i agree with him. pretty obvious really. although i think fury has wilders number regardless but i agree with uss cunningham here. people are showing their bias by not even looking into this objectively but we are on a brit forum![]()
What is an open hand glove across a guy's face supposed to look like? How does it differ from the picture shown there on the bottom right?
What is an open handed left hook from an arm puncher supposed to look like? How does it differ from what's shown there?
Why hasn't Fury been cauught by officials or opponent teams if he's been doing this for years? Not like he was A-side either time vs Wilder either
Is there not more than this miniscule 'evidence', picked largely from the tiniest snippets of first fight and not Wilder's beating?
If this happened before, why were there no accusations for any specific of Fury's previous fights until Wilder got battered? Perhaps some good ole hurt hiney?
As for your other questions, whether or not he was caught before doesn't matter. Margarito was loading his gloves for years in my opinion. Fury has been fighting with gloves all his life, he may have figured out a trick or two about how to loosen the gloves a bit after they have been put on. One only has to look at uss cunninghams video to see that the glove is loose. If you can't see that then im not sure what I can tell you.

Weak reply bruh, you ducking a lot there even though you're the one who cried that people didn't want to discuss it seriously
Cunningham really didn't show f@ck all , he's not wearing the same gloves, he's not Tyson Fury on fight night. He's obviously one who buys into conspiracies really easy, that is clear
And I don't know about USS, but a lot of people are saying Fury did it both fights. The video there itself displays pictures from both fights---you can tell by the tape. I wonder what exactly people think an open handed punch from a slapper looks like if not like those, or what they think a guy with his glove on an opponent's face in the bottom right picture is supposed to look like normally.

I don't see how you can argue that the glove is loose in the pictures. They shouldn't look like that in my opinion.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 21:11 Weak reply bruh, you ducking even though you're the one who cried that people didn't want to discuss it seriously![]()

I really am not seeing at all what an open handed slap on a guy's face is normally like that doesn't resemble those picks. All you need to do to land like Fury is there is to have your hand open, aka to throw slaps like we all know Fury has done for years and years. Not sure why Cunningham or anyone else thinks there needs to be some sort of illegal glove tampering for that.

Btw pretty f@cking noticable when USS slides his hand down his glove, no way that would go unnoticed during a fight if Fury had done that, and of course no one seemed to notice back in 2018 did they when the fight was already there to see, only now that Wilder lost , forgive us if that strikes as a bit of butthurt

Out of curiosity which rounds did you give wilder? I was struggling to give him more then the 9th and 12th the second was pretty even if aside from that I can't see how you could give wilder anymore.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 21:06I thought Wilder won the first fight but as I understand it the issue with the gloves only refers to the first fight. Gotcha, just to me 1-1 despite apparently a pro-Fury ref and Fury cheating doesn't seem so much of showing you got someone's number, but I seeTheLeprechaun wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 21:06I thought Wilder won the first fight but as I understand it the issue with the gloves only refers to the first fight. I think the rounds were pretty close. Fury won more but I didn't have too much in it. Fury was fighting off the back foot, Wilder was coming forward, neither guy really landing all that much. I can't recall which rounds I gave Wilder but I gave him 3. All three judges gave Wilder the first round.jenko21 wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 21:32Out of curiosity which rounds did you give wilder? Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
It has nothing to do with a Fury win, loss or draw, relax on that. All you have to do is type FURY GLOVES into YouTube, or google, and you will see so many people from our sport, fans, pro boxers, and insiders of the game, all discussing it. Some write it off as nothing inconspicuos, others are unsure, and some call him on it thinking he was cheating. Either way, the topic has merit. In all my 25 years of of being an avid boxing fan, i have never seen gloves behave like that before, and it seems nobody else commenting on the matter has either. Again though, thats not saying he cheated.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑04 Apr 2020, 21:22 Btw pretty f@cking noticable when USS slides his hand down his glove, no way that would go unnoticed during a fight if Fury had done that, and of course no one seemed to notice back in 2018 did they when the fight was already there to see, only now that Wilder lost , forgive us if that strikes as a bit of butthurt![]()
I personally dont think he cheated, i lean much more to there being another explination for it, but when i see pro fighters etc are also baffled by it, the question rightly needs to be raised, just what exactly was going on there???

Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
he's throwing slappy, wrist flicked punches with an open glove, you don't have to go the illegal gloves route for that to happen. And like I've said, take the picture on the bottom right for instance, what exactly is so unusual about that? how is that any different from what a glove being pushed on the face would usually look like? Someone putting together stuff like that is just the epitome of reaching for excuses
Most of the content on the vid is being generated by people and certain corners who are obviously sore about Wilder losing, which is why NONE of this ever came up from during the actual first fight 2018. You mention these youtube fanbois, but what did the commission say? What did Wilder and his team say that night? Why didn't the ref or teams or officials notice it? Why didn't commentary say a word? Why were 0 posts made about it and why did none of this matter until Wilder got an L?
Not surprised to see USS buying into this though given his other beliefs

Tbh, I think even Wilder and his team are unimpressed, they've used so many excuses but haven't seen them bringing that one out yet. Mayve just need to give it more time
Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
Oh man this whole thing has been so infuriating. I cannot stand it. Have people never put a f*cking glove on? I have heard stories from my kickboxing days about amateurs pulling their gloves up to give themselves a bit of extra reach to land punches, to score points, but have never heard of anybody using it to increase power. How would that even work? Seriously, everybody who has ever laced them up: how would you possibly force the glove to give to the point where you could hit with your top two knuckles (where the power comes from) through, what, where the laces are? Or is he hitting with the knuckles on his fingers? To manoeuvre the glove so you're hitting bare knuckle with the top two knuckles is impossible And to hit with the other knuckles is dumb too: you will break your hand.
OK I have trained boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA, Ju-Jisu, Kung Fu, Wing Chun; I've trained with Geoff Thompson's boys and with Dennis Jones (the Samurai on the Door from Martial Arts illustrated). I even messed about with Wu Shu and Krav Maga. I have been taught all sorts of hand strikes: palm strikes, heeling, backlists, double-hip punches, chicken head blocks, I mean any weird ways of hitting with your hand I'm pretty sure I have a decent understanding of what a hand can do. I also know how fragile it is. I personally, as somebody who isn't a boxer and was more into learning how to fight to actually be able to fight as opposed to compete, have always preferred padwork with bare fists to heavy bag work with wraps and gloves. I would NEVER punch with my outside knuckles. Never. Fists are so fragile, and also its just a retarded way of striking. It's not effective.
And here's another one for you: Some of you will remember a long time ago I posted about how I don't have fingers on my left hand and just have a heel and a thumb, which is where I heard the stories about pulling your glove forward because I used to use the knuckle part of the glove just to score points in sparring, and people would still react like I'd hit them even though there was no knuckles there, just leather. I have tried putting the glove right up my arm so that my heel was in the knuckle part of the glove and it didn't work: it just hurt me. And as for forcing the glove to somehow be at a right angle so that you could hit with your knuckles... It is impossible. I say this as a person who's really messed around with gloves to try and figure out how I can make them work for me. This stuff is CODSWALLOP. He's slapping. You can really get a lot of power behind a slap: a lot of torque in a slap. But all this 'glovegate' stuff...
It's really dumb. Really, really dumb.
It'll maybe add more intrigue to a third fight, in that a lot of people will tune in because they don't think Fury will be allowed to 'cheat' this time and their hero (despite having everything his own way for both of the first two fights in terms of judges, refs, home advantage, everything)will be able to win 'fair and square', and I lot of people who will tune in because they want to see Wilder get the sh*t beaten out of him and retired, because him and his fanbase are such pathetic, dreadful people.

Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
Ya, it's the weakest excuse to come out , first of all it's totally possible to throw shots like that if you open your glove and are flicking with your wrist, second of all open handed slaps aren't doing nearly as much damage as full on flush knuckle shots, and of course there's all the questions about how no one at all seemed to notice this back when it happened, how Fury somehow conned all the trainers , team wilder guys, commisson, etc....how he did it all without any notice fromthe commentator or ref etc
But of course, now that he beats Wilder it all comes out and ppl suddenly see it lol

Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
Seriously people, go put your gloves on all ridiculous like crazy Steve has, it is way more of a detriment than an advantage, it is way tougher to box like that and you can't hit nearly as hard if you're flopping around wildly .Look at his piddly 'full power' shots when his glove is like that. The people/person who thinks he's just made some great case are as gullible and eager to believe it as he is
Poor Wilder, Fury flop slapped him around too cruelly

Re: Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering
Dear god, is this seriously being brought up again. I though this foolishness was accepted as debunked over a month ago.
Do you know how this all started?
The original source of these allegations is a youtuber who had NO interest in boxing. Look back at the guys videos, his interests all revolve around “black science,” and alternative truth.
Yes he is an amateur kickboxer/MMA fighter, but he has no experience of boxing, let alone lacing up professional gloves. It’s pretty obvious that he only took interest due to Wilder’s black history month symbolism. Which also explains why he suddenly took an interest in the first fight, after Wilder lost the rematch.
i.e. he never saw the first fight, until after Wilder lost and was desperately looking for anything to discredit the white boxer who beat the symbol of black power that Wilder was being promoted as.
Also whether it is deserved or not, this guy has a reputation as an internet scammer. Now he wants donations to take this fight all the way to the top.
I actually came across the original live stream when he floated this glovegate idea. He was mocked heavily, down voted heavily and made the video private. THEN it got traction with the LDBC on youtube, who everyone knows push a racial narrative.
Do you think there is no coincidence that these youtubers ignore all the debunking videos, and delete anyone that challenges them on their channels on the topic?
This is nothing but a hussle by a group of youtubers who make their money by riling up their fanbase with tales of oppression, and anti-black conspiracy theories. Raking it in on advertising revenue through clicks and superchat donations, as they “fight the good fight.”
Stop making an easy mark out of yourself.
If you really need me to post the countless debunking videos from the youtube boxing community, which are being willfully ignored I can.

Fine, so now explain why many industry figures with in ring boxing experience have raised questions what was going on with his gloves? There is a mix of views out there, not many believe he fixed the gloves so he could hit with his knuckles, which is what Cunningham claims, but some do point out it is feasible he was after a reach advantage.Finkel wrote: ↑07 Apr 2020, 05:46 Dear god, is this seriously being brought up again.
{Edit} p.s. great post by clopixolacuphase on this subject
His gloves were flopping, his wraps were clearly visible, his gloves appeared loose. No conspiracy, fine by me, but why are knowledgeable boxing insiders not all writing it off as easily as you?
