Very sad. When u think boxing will resume in England again? I don’t personally see it happening until October but there’s talk of June behind closed doors. Hard to do it when NHS are going to be not normal for a long time

I'd imagine it would also be much harder to get fights made when you take out the venue income through ticket sales.

Lower level guys will need the money, so might fight for less than normal, but if you're a bigger name it's hard to say fight now for X but you could earn a lot more when arenas open again.

Would Kell Brook want to go out in an empty arena? Surely he'd have as much chance of one more pay day in six-eight months as now and it would be worth a lot more when it happened?

Also would Sky or BT see the return on investment of paying for a British title fight in an empty York Hall?

Sad times all round, although obviously this is nothing compared to the loss of life and how it has impacted those in the game.

As long as the NHS is under the strain it is under I can't see any boxing going ahead, a lot of events(not just boxing) require medical staff to be on hand and as long as they're needed elsewhere there won't be any available to attend.
