Steve Cunningham accuses Fury of glove tampering

Dear god, is this seriously being brought up again. I though this foolishness was accepted as debunked over a month ago.

Do you know how this all started?

The original source of these allegations is a youtuber who had NO interest in boxing. Look back at the guys videos, his interests all revolve around “black science,” and alternative truth.

Yes he is an amateur kickboxer/MMA fighter, but he has no experience of boxing, let alone lacing up professional gloves. It’s pretty obvious that he only took interest due to Wilder’s black history month symbolism. Which also explains why he suddenly took an interest in the first fight, after Wilder lost the rematch.
i.e. he never saw the first fight, until after Wilder lost and was desperately looking for anything to discredit the white boxer who beat the symbol of black power that Wilder was being promoted as.

Also whether it is deserved or not, this guy has a reputation as an internet scammer. Now he wants donations to take this fight all the way to the top.

I actually came across the original live stream when he floated this glovegate idea. He was mocked heavily, down voted heavily and made the video private. THEN it got traction with the LDBC on youtube, who everyone knows push a racial narrative.
Do you think there is no coincidence that these youtubers ignore all the debunking videos, and delete anyone that challenges them on their channels on the topic?

This is nothing but a hussle by a group of youtubers who make their money by riling up their fanbase with tales of oppression, and anti-black conspiracy theories. Raking it in on advertising revenue through clicks and superchat donations, as they “fight the good fight.”

Stop making an easy mark out of yourself.

If you really need me to post the countless debunking videos from the youtube boxing community, which are being willfully ignored I can.

Fine, so now explain why many industry figures with in ring boxing experience have raised questions what was going on with his gloves? There is a mix of views out there, not many believe he fixed the gloves so he could hit with his knuckles, which is what Cunningham claims, but some do point out it is feasible he was after a reach advantage.
His gloves were flopping, his wraps were clearly visible, his gloves appeared loose. No conspiracy, fine by me, but why are knowledgeable boxing insiders not all writing it off as easily as you?

Cumingham is a crackpot. I just followed him on twitter and his current angle seems to be that Corona virus is essentially fake news.

I respect Malignaggi, he knows his stuff, and i definately take his view on this on board. When i posted this thread, i was also unaware Cunningham was into conspiracy theories, if he really does believe the earth is flat and is vocal on it, i doubt i would have posted this topic based on his view.

I've been a big fan of boxing for over 20 years, since my late teens, but i have never boxed. I have never worn a proper pair of boxing gloves, so cant evaluate this situation from that type of experience.

Weighing this up now, i am quite sure the cheating aspect is nonsense. However, i do believe his gloves were looser than they should have been, and it played a factor in the flopping glove action of some of his punches.
