One-sided decision for Laguna; a bad style for Arguello.

Ismael Laguna at his very best was too slick and fast of feet and hands. A complete boxer. I don't know how did he lost twice to the great Carlos Ortiz, especially in that rubber match.

The Explosive Thin Man by the lightweight years wasn't that effective. As a matter of fact, he was slower as he move up in weight, but still carried that wallop punch.

Laguna by decision when he was at his very best.

Loved Arguello since the 1970s but Laguna was all wrong for him. Laguna UD

As for Ortiz-Laguna 3, there were rumors that it was a fix. Imo, it was a legit win for Ortiz; Ortiz is my choice for second best lightweight ever and I wouldn't argue with anyone who says he was the best ever.
