Whats happened to the ratings system?

Post by cfang »

Just had a look at the ratings and it seems some welter who only ever won the australian welter championship is the 18th greatest pound for pound boxer of all time (Jack carroll ??). Hes sandwiched between marciano and trinidad lol

It also seems that jack johnson is 164th on the all time heavy list. What a total mess!

Any idea when this happened? this has totally messed up my research. I liked the old format way better. This seems ridiculous Dixie kid had a 1100 rating at his peak, George Cole had a 700. Now they are both a 4 ratings which mean's nothing to me, it was easy to see that a fighter with 500 more pts was better. Now they are both a 4. This is utterly ridiculous. They messed up everything. They should have some way to access the old information, if u choose.
