If Haney and Tank Davis are the next big stars, boxing is in a lot of trouble. They aren't exactly Ali in the oratory department. Teofimo Lopez could be the saviour of boxing if he can take Lomachenko out and go on a nice reign. Lomachenko himself probably has the beating of Haney or Davis for at least 2 more years. Davis looks like a poor mans Judah so im not too concerned. Haney has faster feet than Loma and will certainly give him problems judging off the Campbell performance. Teofimo will come to bully Loma, stand his ground and catch him with counters. The problem is that Loma usually has that style of fighter covered in all departments.

Just because these young lightweight prospects are American they get way more press/attention than they deserve.
The main prospects at 135 right now are Lopez, Garcia and Haney. Tank Davis ran from Lomachenko and shouldn't be in the discussion until he grows balls. Haney is right up there, he's going to be hard to beat with that stinker style. Taylor and Prograis are waiting for them at 140 so I'd imagine we will see them stay at 135 for the time being. So far Lopez is the only one of them who seems to have the confidence to take on Lomachenko.
