Soto defeats Keb Bass!

Unbeaten minimumweight Omar "Pastor" Soto (9-0-1, 4 KOs) hailing from Aguada, Puerto Rico outpointed game veteran Juan Alfonso Keb Bass (31-19-2, 20 KOs) from Mexico by unanimous decision (100-90, 100-90, 99-91) over ten rounds Saturday night in the main event at the Coliseito Pedrin Zorrilla in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Soto kept Keb Bass at a distance throughout the entire fight with a solid jab and combinations. On occasions, Keb Bass effectively pressured Soto but fell short against the much more active Puerto Rican. With the victory Soto retains his WBC CABOFE and WBO Latino titles.
In the co-feature, undefeated junior lightweight Orlando "The Phenom" Cruz raised his record to 9-0 with 5 KOs as he quickly dispatched Ricardo Barrera (18-7-1, 15 KOs) at 2:05 of the first round.
