About Morrison kids - I'd be glad, if they step up, but unfortunately they aren't likely to do it.

Yeah, but they aren't likely to enter the World level successfully. If they are likely to enter the World level at all. Anyway, I'll be glad, if I'm wrong.oogiebe wrote: ↑24 Apr 2020, 20:24They seem content with being local heros.DrDuke wrote: ↑24 Apr 2020, 20:20

Neither does anything special enough to go to the next level. The resmemblances are remarkable though.
Re: Fav All-time Fighter By Weight Class
Unfortunately so. Trey had no fights in 2017, a single fight in 2019. Why? He should at least bash out journeymen. It's an experience in any case. Kenzie had drawn for a couple of times and appeared out of shape on several occasions. I hope, that their resemblance with the dad one day spreads to the ring.

Heavyweight: Floyd Patterson Cruiserweight: Jimmy Ellis - Would be today. Light Heavyweight: Ezzard Charles Middleweight: Sugar Ray Robinson Junior Middleweight: Tommy Hearns Welterweight: Kid Gavilan Lightweight: Roberto Duran Featherweight: Willie Pep
I Really don't have a favorite in some weight classes.

Re: Fav All-time Fighter By Weight Class
Thanks. Patterson was my favorite ever since I saw him beat Hurricane Jackson in the heavyweight elimination fight in 1956. I was very impressed with his speed and how he moved. I was more impressed when I found out that he, that Floyd fought most of the bout with a broken hand.
I originally did not like Jimmy Ellis. I thought that he was just a friend of Ali and part of a boxing power structure. Also, I thought that Patter son got screwed in the Ellis fight. However, I later found out that Jimmy Ellis was really a pretty good guy. I looked over his record and saw that he was very underrated. About the only fighters that were better during his prime years were Ali and Frazier. I started watching some tapes of his fights and saw that he did have some talent, and a good chin, and was really a good fighter.
Maybe people can tell, but I am having some trouble with my computer. I am trying to work around it. I am getting a new laptop in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for sharing that. I find it interesting how fans 'find' their favorites. Usually a story behind it.Scypion wrote: ↑25 Apr 2020, 15:19 Thanks.
