If this is true, David Hay (with his toe excuse) was very intelligent man comparing to Wilder.

What do you think about ?
I know this sounds crazy, but during Wilder's walkout, I was wondering if the red lights around the eyes messed with his vision and equilibrium. And he was walking slow and a bit off to the ring. Not saying the outcome of the fight would have been different if he didn't wear that. But he may have been affected a little.
Wilder was mostly affected by getting his ass kicked.

Yeah call me crazy but getting hit repeatedly in the head by a large man generally affects your body. More than wearing a heavy suit

Let’s not forget Rigo. ‘I broke my hand’. Found out later it was a bruise.

I don’t think Wilder’s heavy suit excuse is all that bad. He was probably just trying to protect himself from the corona virus. Shame the suit, with its attached oxygen tanks and filtration system, was so heavy.

I like Bobby Czyz but felt he made an excuse about a rub getting in his eyes or something, in his loss to Holyfield, instead of just admitting he was getting smacked around.

And just take your pick for a Wilder excuse cause there are plenty.

Did Anthony Joshua ever reveal why he thought he lost to Ruiz?

When he won the rematch, he said he was going to reveal what went on in the first fight and why he lost, but as far as I know, he hasn't said anything yet.

Better to have courage enough to fight and lose, than refuse to fight at all. I'll take lame excuses of losing over chickenshits any day. Oodles of boxers out there that ducked out of fights to avoid giving lame excuses for losing.
