Its fair to say its harder to win a euro belt than a world title in some cases

Depends, winning a vacant belt on home soil if often easier than winning the British.ThereByTheGrace wrote: ↑06 May 2020, 07:09 Its fair to say its harder to win a euro belt than a world title in some cases
On the other hand going into a champs backyard, esp for a voluntary is a diff thing.
Nevertheless you are def right going abroad to beat the euro champ has been a much bigger job than winning many world titles.

John H, Stracey beating Roger Menetrey, and Kevin Finnegan beating Jean-Claude Bouttier - on the same night, in Paris.
Both the Brits were underdogs and both won decisively. I watched it live on CCTV at the Leicester Sq. Odeon. One of the happiest days of my life.
