Yeah but Jacobs had that relaxed self-assured demeanour that makes you think he’s the kind of dude you want next to you if a beef is developing. Maybe i over-read it at the time but I was impressed with his poise.
Not surprising, he's maybe too poised in the ring. Not just being a pro boxer, but the out of the ring battles he's fought probably leave you immune to loud shittalking.

Both very good points. I hadn’t thought about his ring style, perhaps too poised is a good way to put it.
