Oh yeah I'll add him now :), along with a few more I've thought of
Tommy coyle, the kid with the pony tail Romeo Romero or whatever his name is, Sam Bowen, Brian rose, Anthony fowler, Charlie Edwards
I’d forgotten about Romeo Romaeo, looked up some of his fights on YouTube last night and lots of comments saying his dad was secretly feeding him PEDs from when he was a small child?!?

Most boxing people thought Galahad should be a world champion and Yarde was in the fight.

Charlie did win a world title tho
Still feel he should be classed as a hype job when he fought at true world level he was seriously out of his depth, fast car probably only signed him up as he is instafamous and he thought he could of made alot of money off of this , he's dropped him like a stone now

Liam Williams should be classed as a fairly recent hype job , other than the 2 Smith fights which at the end of the day he lost both regardless how you seen the first fight ending , for the rest of his career he has feasted on domestic level bums , the majority of them being half his size , his Welsh mutton molester superfan boys on social media are still bigging him up as if he's on canelos level it's laughable , he's fought at true domestic title level twice against the same fighter and lost both times

Some of those guys have had successful careers :maybe:

Also, some are young enough to still achieve good things.

Although a lot of the names on the list do belong. Price, Gavin, Cox, Saunders, Heffron were all massively overvalued at one or more points in recent years.

 He moved up a weight to fight the bigger Mark Heffron for the British title. Heffron was 21-0 with 17KO's and the favourite.
His last fight was an eliminator against a 6ft 5in American

Heffron turned out to be bum of the year, Williams was huge at light middle so it was no bother to him at all moving up, most of his fights before the 2 Smith fights he feasted on blown up welterweights like the other heffron brother he fought

For me a hyped fighter is a fighter people shout loudly about, whereas Williams has gone under the radar. Maybe because he doesn't have the film star looks or has got the talk but I thought he was very unlucky against Smith and is in fact quite underrated. I think he is def fringe world class and good enough to win a strap.

I wouldn't say he's gone under the radar, before the 2 Smith fights he started getting coverage on the TV and was spoke very highly of, he was unlucky in the first Smith fight but in the 2nd he was beaten fair and square, since then hes gone back to fighting probably even worse opponents than he did before Smith, only thing now is he is the same size as his mediocre opposition, he has a lot of fan boys on social media that make out he is some elite level fighter so again that's not really under the radar either, I just don't see how so many people seem to think he is destined to win a middle weight world title when the only name on his record is Smith and he lost to him twice?

Maybe because he showed he was as good as Smith and Smith was good enough to get a strap. I think he has improved since too.

He came across as a complete twat in the build up to the heffron fight too , I really can't see how he's gonna win a world title , everyone keeps sayin how he's improved since the 2 Smith fights but the opponent's he's faced since then have been even worse than all the bums he ploughed through at light middle weight, heffron looked like he'd never been in a ring before in his life in their fight and then the next guy he fought after that smoking Joe or whatever he's called looked like one of these guys that has signed up for a one off charity fight how can anyone guage if he has improved fighting the likes of that dross

I don't see him beating Canelo, BJS either, but winning a vacant strap against Smith again or Eubanks would be quite possible

He wouldn't win against eubank, for all juniors limitations he would still be too strong against Williams, he never stopped coming forward against groves even though he was well beaten he kept pushing forward right to the end against a much bigger and better fighter than Williams, eubank is too fit too strong and too much heart to loose to williams

So you said. And they were all half his size. Including 6ft 5in Atlantez Fox (the guy who had put Andrade on the canvas). :brick:

Fox didn't even land the punch that scored that kd lol

It was a good result though, looking beastly at 160, interested to see how he looks at a higher level

Not sure if he's been mentioned but Gloucester's Johnny Melfah was seriously hyped prior to a shot at the British middleweight title back in the day against Herol "Bomber" Graham. Sadly for Melfah, he was outclassed and stopped in five rounds.
