If i was wilder id do the same,especially if he is injured anyway its free money. Let fury fight aj then face fury for all the marbles for another multimillion dollars,its a no brainer,if i was pulev id be piśśed because he has missed one title fight in the last 12 months now he will miss out again for another 12 months,wilder should fight pulev for an interim title and then winner faces winner of fury vs AJ

Seems a crazy amount of money for someone to have to stump up, I did read Don King paid Lewis £4m not to fight Tyson in the early days and that was a few quid back then.

I can see the 10 million happening Its a lot of money, but you can deal with that. . the bit that gets tricky is pulev will want the same deal...
And then Wilder (plus probly pulev) will want a garrentee fight next... Im guessing wilder will Ask 50-50 or 60-40... but do you deserve 60-40 for all the belts when you bring non of them? And hows that work with pulev wanting next as well probly...

Im glad he has opened up to the idea, and honestly, he probably isnt confedent against fury so im sure theres a sum of money that will make him step aside. But id be shocked if the first offer is an acceptable offer, If this happens this will be super complicated involving Wilder, Fury, AJ, Pulev, eddie Hearn, Bob Arum, Finkle, Al haymon, and probably more.....

Hope im wrong and it just breezes through though.

I honestly don’t believe Hearn wants Joshua to fight fury. It’s a massive risk. The money would have to be cash out money. Hearn knows Tyson would persecute AJ mentally and in the build up. We’ve already seen joshua can get mentally messed up in New York. Fury will get in his head and it’ll be great for viewers but not for joshua. Hearn has done everything in his power to keep Tyson away from Joshua

Hearns all about the cash though, and the fury fight is worth at least two or three of any other other fights so he’d be keen. I think the mental aspect could be over valued, think Aj could laugh off fury’s clowning and play the straight guy. The mental strain he seemed under in New York wasn’t related to his opponent getting under his skin, dunno what it was mind. I’d still be giving an a chance. His strength should mean he can stand up to fury more than wilder, who just seemed to flop under fury’s pressure. Wouldn’t back against fury, but still wanna see it.

Taking step-aside money for the AJ/Fury fight would be a no-brainer.

The problem you have is that AJ/Fury would have to have a rematch clause.

Pulev may accept step aside money but it could be taken out of his hands. IBF could play hardball. If they stripped AJ and made Pulev fight for the vacant title it would cost Pulev millions as the AJ fight is where the money is.
Without his mandatory ranking Pulev wouldn’t get the fight.

If the first AJ/Fury fight was close then they’d want a rematch clause for the rematch.

Would Team AJ/Fury want Wilder to stay inactive during the time period? If he went and got beat elsewhere the fight loses all value.

Would Wilder be willing to stay inactive for 24 months?

So many questions. I can’t see how they can make all parties involved happy.

I fully expect Wilder/Fury and AJ/Pulev to be the fights that happen next.
