I'd like a response to how Aaron looked sensational when you didn't see him.

Good thread.
Diego Corrales comes to mind. I realize he had four or five really good years but when his skills went south, they crashed hard.
Same for Juanma Lopez. He looked unbeatable for a time and then seemed shot overnight.

Dmitry Pirog 20-0 (15 ko's), retired due to injury just after his 32nd birthday.
Didn't turn pro until the age of 25, and only had 1 fight outside of Russia before turning 30. However he was a special talent, and but for his dodgy back, he'd have beaten GGG with ease, and dominated the Middleweight division.

Stanley Ketchel was killed at 24 before his rematch with Jack Johnson.

Pirog and Pavlik are among my favorites who didn't go further their prime.nickcat0 wrote: ↑21 May 2020, 19:17 Dmitry Pirog 20-0 (15 ko's), retired due to injury just after his 32nd birthday.

Pavlik's one of my all-time favs. What a style... I wish that more boxers could keep his kind of low-profile attitude.
