Being KO’d within 4-5 rounds is much safer than constantly taking 10 round beatings.

 He was good for betting purposes, you knew roughly what rounds he would be stopped in. :TU:

Love myself some Pricey, go on lad and listen to your heart.

Think he gets paid very well for his level too, he's value as an undercard attraction

As levels go, I would keep Price well away from Robert Helenius. That's the sort of match we don't need to see IMO.

Says a lot about the sport today when being British level is some kind of slur, the vast majority of people couldn’t even even get close to touching that level in 6 life times.

Good on Pricey, he’s always worth watching and clearly very determined.
Agreed mate. Idiots some on here.

I hope Pricey gets himself a big win.

Yep, i think it would be harsh to begrudge Price success at higher level, however, I like perspective and fairness. You do get the impression that if Price pulls off one remotely world class win he will be propelled into a world title shot.

Two words...Dillian Whyte :maybe:

I would like to see Price vs any of the following

Jermaine Franklin
Zhang Zhilei
Junior Fa
Evgeny Romanov
Apti Davtaev

He had a good thing going with the series of fights vs Ali and Allen. That is a good level for him. But whenever he puts some wins together he's always thrown back up the levels. I think the guys above would be realistically ambitious for Price's level. I think Hearn promotes the Chinese guy?

Another fight that would seemingly work for Price is Lucas Brown. I think Artur Szpilka would have been good for Price too, but man did he ever get KTFO by Big Sexy Del.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to get a Price-Ali rematch.

Genuine bad blood there. Couple of IFL interviews and the ‘bite’ repeated on the hour every hour on Sky Sports News could make it a financially viable option for Big Pricey.

Not sure about that, Franklin for example couldn't even stop Pavel Sour, who is no more durable really than Pricey. Apti fights like a mummy. Price has never lost to guys at that level I don't think though they'd still be good wins for him.

Maybe. But one way or another we can expected to see price laid out again before to long
I don't think he has any ambition left at all, if he ever had any to begin withl. He's looking for the easiest paydays possible. Milk a few "tune up" fights of course to get a few quid in the bank first and then cash out for as much as possible in a fight that he knows hes going to lose.

I think there's still ambition burning in Pricey, with the right fights why not a European title shot.

Yep, those "type" of fights. If the EBU champion or opponent isn't of a high calibre, or on PEDS, it's not entirely unrealistic.

I agree that mentally Price isn't world class at all, and nor is his punch IMO, but below that he might still have it in him to pull off a worthwhile win. Just because a boxer fails in world class they don't have to pack it in, even if they had been expected to succeed. That's the fan's problem, not Pricey's.

Wasn’t he a bit gunshy against Dave Allen too?

I won some good money on price that night who was the underdog. Tbh I’m also surprised that Allen beat Lucas Browne
Browne didn’t seem to care. Good body shot it was. Then he was just say there in the corner smiling with an oxygen mask.
