Mercer would not be Merciless, but would pull a James "Bonecrusher" Smith survival mode against Tyson, who would swarm all over him on the body and head as Iron Mike take a decision.

At least Tyson had better tecnique. Tyson on points. He will hit Ray Mercer with some shots to the chin, and the sucker will still be standing up.

Tyson by decision. Mercer would take Tyson's power well, but he wouldn't deal with the speed. Tyson would outbox Mercer, about 117-111.

Agree with Tyson by decision, but what makes you think Mercer would clutch and grab? He never did, though Mike was a big holder because of his mediocre infighting.

I don't think that Merciless will clutch and grab for survival, either. Ray Mercer was one of the most valiant and fearless boxers that I have ever seen. He would fight anybody, anytime, anywhere.

Very bad match up for Mercer this.

He will be second best all night and his toughness will ensue that he receives tremendous punishment before been stopped in a one sided affair.

Mercer wasnt exactly known for his tip top condition and can see him exhausted after a few rounds taking too many and being stopped possibly in protest.

Mercer would have his moments, but yeah Mike would've outfought him with the greater skill.

9 rounds to 3 for Mike probably. Something like that. Mercer could win the rounds where Mike kinda took a round off, and rested up for another assault.
