I like the fact that Toney refers to him as 'a european' in a derogatory way on a few occasions during the sparring session.. James doesn’t even care if his insults are accurate, just as long as they keep coming!!
Apparently after that session James took umbrage at a comment by Fenech and threatened to ‘go and get his gun’; mouthing off like he was going to kill someone. Typical Toney.
Toney v Fenech is a toe-to-toe I would like to see. I know Toney’s tough guy rants wouldn’t phase the Marrickville Mauler. I dunno who would win between those pair but it’s a fight I would love to see!

I was watching a grouping of the sparing sessions with Danny and James. First thing I noticed was that Danny didn't look anywhere near 168 (of course the only thing to compare him to was James, so...)
Second, Danny's punches were much more clean and crisp than I have seen him in a real fight...not just "pushing" punches.
James, well even when he is resting, he is working. The guy loos good even when looking bad. I really think he would make a great trainer some day.

This sparring was when Green was at his best, He was well over 168 he looked around 175-180 but sadly i think his wars in the gym with Toney and Paul Briggs have taken a lot out of him and the last 3 fights he has been on the decline. Maybe a move to 175 will help him he is big for a Super Middle and still has a punchers chance against all the belt holders at 175 IMO.zojo, wrote:I was watching a grouping of the sparing sessions with Danny and James.
