Anthony Joshua out protesting today. Will the board take action?

Post by Glass Joe »

Anthony Joshua was out protesting in Watford today with no social distancing in place.

Joshua is basically giving the middle finger to the government and NHS and made the months people have sacrificed starting to look like a waste of time.

Will the board step in and fine and suspend Joshua? No doubt if BJS did this he would be fined and suspended.

What action needs to be taken? Is he not allowed freedom of speech and movement?

Double standards from Joshua, he didn't have a problem with fighting in Saudi and getting their money with Saudi poor humans rights.

That’s because he could no longer ask for a black marker, but a marker of colour.

Outrageous when the BAME community has been one of the hardest hit by the pandemic in the UK.

Even Becker and Madge were there wearing a mask. I guess we can all ignore social distancing now so long as we wear a mask.

The board would have already written the press release if it was BJS.

Highly doubt it. Sky Sports News broadcasted the speech he gave.

I think people are jumping on the bandwagon across the world as an excuse to beat the lockdown.

And this George Floyd seemed a nasty piece of work, obv even in America you need a trial before execution, but he is hardly a poster boy to get behind in a protest.

AJ and his pals have had their issues with the old bill before, all crims who are black will be playing the race card now

He may not have been clean cut in the same way a gentle giant like Mike Brown or Travyon Martin was, but still, didn't deserve to die. I think it's not claiming that all black guys should get a free ride, but if they do get in trouble with the law they shouldnt be handled worse just because they are black.

If a cop had choked Fred West to death I'd have still wanted him sentenced. When you start playing the old 'deserved it', who's there to defend you when you don't, because that's the culture that that attitude fosters. And that's the crux of this — cops abusing their power, both in the US and UK. If you're black and haven't noticed it then you're incredibly lucky; almost certainly wealthy.

AJ needs to prove he's quarantined properly before fighting again, and that's it. He has every right to protest or else there's no democracy, and that's all he's campaigning for — the same rights and protections as white people, not more. Black Lives Matter isn't about reducing one side but elevating another to parity, and to have a problem with that is racist.

Timing's deffo less than ideal for public gatherings, but don't let the rich who run our countries — constantly screwing over our poor whatever their ethnicity — use that to distract you from their abuses that created this environment. Let's look at how our daily cases are outnumbering most European countries put together and blame the Tories for failing us. We could've been nearing the end of this pandemic by now.
