Yeah but it’s gloved boxing. And no one actually knows how good Theo is. I mean that sparring session isn’t a good judge as the other dude is not really fighting back but Mick looks ok for a 54 yr old - and he is definitely fit. He is obviously very strong too. I think people might be underrating him. Peole that know him at least say he’s pretty tasty. Don’t know this Sykes guy, he can have it too I bet... but intimidating and beating up drunken people in a pub in Huddersfield hardly makes you the GOAT. Basically were all talking about street toughs who we never seen box and who knows. They should have a prizefighter with Theo, Sykes, Fury and whoever else over 50 fancies it. It would probably be awful in quality but we’d find out something and it would be entertainment.... I’m #TeamTheo 🤣😂😂😂😂
Yes, would keep us entertained.

Theo seems to be one step ahead of Big John and his team. He seems to have contacts and knows background on John and was alerted to Spencer scratching around for info on him and whether he could fight.

Theo seems somewhat of a reputation killer.

I remember Bob Sykes from way back in the day, as he was editor of Martial Arts Illustrated and staged the Clash of the Titans events in Huddersfield. Credible martial artist and did a lot of good work bringing people together, but based on some of the stuff I'm seeing he's not averse to exaggerating the truth himself, as this shows:
https://www.mainprizelee.com/courses/th ... -bob-sykes
Referring to Clash as an early MMA-style event is stretching it given it was semi-contact! Also can't find anything to suggest he actually boxed professionally despite him claiming in the Yorkshire Examiner he was a top pro. When I saw him fight at Clash he was a Welterweight, so not sure how he could square up against Theo.. though quite why he's calling him out now as well I've no idea.

Just clicked on that 🤣🤣😂😂😂😂 it’s like some 70s or 80s BS..... I like this quote “ Pressure Point Skills – use these two simple TAPS onto the head to send your opponent – no matter how big he is – reeling in pain 10 feet away INSTANTLY”

🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂 fookin ell.... there always were a lot of frauds in the martial arts game.... this guy sounds like English version of Frank Dux
I know mate! It's mad, as he's actually got a strong, credible background in martial arts, so why he started churning out this shit I'll never know!

In the interviews he comes accross quite well. Also people say ‘he’s just tryna make a name for himself’ but considering he’s been around for ages and obviously is connected in some way.... and he never spoke up before makes me wonder what it’s all about. He seems to have cash. The only reason I can see for him suddenly speaking out is that he genuinely wanted to do a charity event for a good cause...... or he has a book coming out 😂
He certainly knows John's history pretty well and was even alerted to the fact that Spencer was trying to get the lowdown on him behind the scenes to see if he could fight.

He clearly has an issue with John persistantly claiming to be the best 54 years old and wants him to back up his bull.

It doesn't look like he has rushed into it either as he seems to have a team in place.

Theo knows Kerry Kayes through bodybuilding, Kayes does cuts for all Peter’s boxers.... Theo has been messaging Peter. It’s a small world.
Did Theo drop George Hilyards name? If that’s the best he can do he’s struggling. Also, bragging McLean broke his nose, lips etc isn’t good form when a half decent pro light heavy sparked him.
As for over 50’s prizefighter, I know a guy who must be 50-51, former aba cruiser finalist, then joined the marines. He comes back up here to visit his parents and is still phenomenally fit and strong. Billy Bessey knows him as he’s stationed in Portsmouth (just to let you know I’m not talking poop!).

I hope Big John can call on people as experienced as Hilliyard or it’s not fair.

I used to love Martial Arts illustrated. Magazines actually got you out of the house because not every newsagent stocked MAI or Boxing News, so you'd have to go and find them.

He probably likes boxing and heard Fury proclaim himself 'The Codger King' and thought "I'll have a bit of that." No more, no less. The boxing match itself would probably be terrible, but it's been something to talk about during boring times and quite funny it is own silly way. I'm not really bothered whether it happens or not.

Yes. He looks fitter now. He popped into Jorvik before all this started. He must be 50. He’s a good bit older than me.

Theo not letting this go. Unless it’s an old video, he’s just agreed to fight John Bare knuckle in a boxing ring.

This is a very odd pursuit of Fury now. I almost saw his point at the beginning.

Fury has to fight now doesn't he?

Is it true what Theo says there about that bloke at the auctions knocking fury out twice, so Fury desperately gouged his eye out?

I have never heard that the other bloke was getting better of Fury before.

I'm on a Bedford Rascal owners page on FB, and John Fury has just brought a Rascal on there, it was overpriced he turned up just gave the asking price and drove it off.

Going by what he is like on his videos you'd expect he would of turned up and been bartering like crazy, but no.

Also I was disappointed that the seller didn't get a photo of John squeezed into the Rascal

Mmmmm . Certainly got the horn for John does,nt he , No excuses now he got what he asked for bare knuckle it is ,, would have to be in a ring though,,, Thing is if it was anyone else , most would be saying , leave the guy alone stop bullying him , he don,t want to fight leave it out ,,, but he has a point john has been calling people out , talking the big en , and using a threatening demeanor for a long time ,, it definetly seems the bullys getting bullied

If the fight did happen and Big John found himself getting beat up,would he resort to his old tricks and start plucking eyes out again ?

They will need wraps for it to be legal. Big John would be better off with it gloved. BkB is a completely different style.

Think John just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible and drive as far away as he could from his daddy, the mickster
