So basically it’s a book which he’s worked on for a grand total of about 6 weeks. Should be incredibly insightful then.

I can just picture the scene, Eddie sitting in his Dad's mansion, hammering away at his typewriter, words of wisdom rattling out of his fingertips like there's no tomorrow.

Or, he sat at his desk talking ballony while some young ghost writer wrote the thing for him. Seems a far more likely scenario.

I’ve got smith’s book. It’s not that bad really. It’s a bit samey and he mainly talks about Ricky Hatton and their early sky career.

I’ve certainly read worse boxing books. It’s not badly written it’s not just particularly interesting or insightful. I suppose if you want to hear about shades of morales Barrera or corrales Castillo and how he approached the commentary it’s “interesting”.

I always stopped into charity shops in Liverpool to check out the books. I was never in a shop without a Jordan autobiography. Loadsa different ones as Well!!! I was in prison in Spain for a month and one of the 10 or so English books was a fuking Jordan autobiography!! Who reads all these books that she has managed to write more than 1. And I find it hard to believe that the content of her life warrants more than 1 biography. I had to do a night of security in a club in Spain for her and she seemed as thick as a plank
