Crazy comment! That he got some support for it was baffling

The bang bang was bad but Lampley was generally okay I thought, sounded 'classy' and 'professional'. Don't think he was any worse than some of the boring but worshipped monotoners
Just don't leave him alone with his wife![[icon_e_surprised.gif] :oo](./images/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)

Partly because he never shuts up.

Re: Worst Call - Pundit / Commentator
Larry Merchant is terrible, always has been. Why is he even connected to boxing ? His knowledge is poor and predictions based on like and dislike. The man's a c#nt !
Re: Worst Call - Pundit / Commentator
Gary Newbon is tosser and never adds much to a show. Rude little f#cker.
Re: Worst Call - Pundit / Commentator
Well fair play to you if you can stand listening to him for more than 30 seconds. He drives me bonkers.

Merchant could be funny at times, he obviously didn't seem to give a f@ck about offending ppl and seemed like he did a few commentaries boozed up. He usually just interjected here and there and didnt try to take over the show and you didnt have to listen to him non stop
Re: Worst Call - Pundit / Commentator
Duke McKenzie, waxed lyrical about Lucian Bute as if he was the second coming of Christ, saying how he was all wrong for Froch etc.

Re: Worst Call - Pundit / Commentator
A lot of people jump on Jim Watt for his comments in the Benn-McClellan bout but he wasn't to know was he? I remember watching it as an 11 year old thinking myself that McClellans arse had gone and he'd quit, I never went to bed that night thinking this guys life is going to be severely changed by the time I get up in the morning. To me and possibly countless others on that night he did quit because we didn't have the benefit of hindsight on the night.

Didn’t Frank Maloney announce that Lou Duva was Dead during the Bowe-Golota brawl.
I tend to recall the beginning of the Setanta Skelton-Chagaev broadcast. They got Maloney in with his HW experience.
Bunce- What do you think about this Heavyweight title fight for a Brit Frank
Frank- It’s an awful fight Steve
Steve- Lets go to a break.
