The funniest part of his career was when Eugene Maloney was threatening to show everyone his passport when they questioned his age. He had a pop at Adam Smith after one fight in the post fight interview.

For people who watched him from the beginning, what level of hype did he get? Gping 18-0, 17by KO and including a destruction of a solid John McDermott--who has always been to me, an underrated fighter. It's a pretty impressive start. Was he hyped up much?

He got a bit of attention from his first fight - the blitzing of Gifford Shillingford got a decent write up in Boxing News. I think by the time he faced Danny Williams, boxing fans had worked out he wasn't really a puncher, and was more of a maul/messy pressure fighter.
