I've not heard about Ronnie for a while really, apart from a few things his brothers post on here, I dont think hes big on social media , it's a shame how his luck changed after the Barrett win, career best performance on BT then nightmares with career threatening injuries, hope he gets back on track

I've known Dean since I was about 10 from school,, I dont see him much these days but we mix I'm same circles so I bump into him now and again, real top lad

Yes definitely Deans a good lad. Was year below me but played football up a year. Remember him and Lindsay Gray being inseparable. Was always a hard game when they were at Fairmuir.

With Ronnie it’s hard. If he went into more in his story people would understand more. We have seen him spar world class fighters and more than hold his own. His own demons have held him back in the ring and a few early dodgy decisions really played on his mind. Against Zelfa he was around 60% of what we have seen.. Now he fully believes in himself and will box his way. He will beat all fighters in the UK at SuperFeather I have no doubt in that. Would be great if he got the chance as he isa real fighter.. Win or lose he will fight with a smile on his face. Martin J Ward said after the fight that there was no way he would fight him again.. Just hope someone takes a chance on him

If it wasn't for his brothers posting about him, nobody would really be talking about him. He's pulled out a fight a while ago if memory serves me. I think he needs to realize he is at the bottom of the barrel in terms of popularity and just take the fights and build.

Almost 9k views on a local podcast that isn’t even on youtube.. None of the uk Super Feathers are anywhere near that kind of viewing figures..Go look at Ronnie’s IFL video’s and Zelfa’s.. This is guy with next to know social media. Boys done it the hard way always on away shows.. Deserves a break. Good fight camp against any of the so called top Super Feathers and lets his fists do the talking..

Are any of you elite sportsman? Injuries are part and parcel of the sport. Most would have given up in his shoes. Just give him some credit where it's due. Broken back and hes back in the gym 6 weeks after a major operation. He has been training at evolve fitness with andrew usher who was involved with boxing scotland for years who is really into sports science who raves about his recovery times and his aptitude in training hence why he knows he can still do it, the science behind it is being done and hes still in his peak. He has something alot of fighters dont. If he pulled out for no reason I'd understand but medical certificates were provided. He had a broken hand( it is boxing) and a serious career threatening back injury.
