Frazier by decision, this fight would go similarly to Frazier-Ali I.

Holmes would fight outside and not engage Smokin' Joe's inside swarming style by jabbing him and avoiding Frazier's best punch in the left hook. Frazier would outwork Holmes in the later rounds, but Holmes would countered him with jabs and combinations on the outside to take the decision.

I can't see ANY VERSION of the great Larry Holmes beating the Smokin' Joe of The Fight of the Century. Joe was relentless. Probably, the greatest single performance in boxing history. And it has never been duplicated.
