Now I am watching Kamaru Usman updates to see if Masvidal will be able to fill in on late notice. Otherwise the co mainevent will be elevated, as can be expected.

Covington also said he'd step in. I would much rather see the rematch then Mas in there. Mas gets ragdolled by Usman, Colby/Kamaru is 50/50 just like last time.

Usman is really unlikeable. I just want to see someone, anyone shut him the fuck up.punchoutsb wrote: ↑05 Jul 2020, 12:16 Covington also said he'd step in. I would much rather see the rematch then Mas in there. Mas gets ragdolled by Usman, Colby/Kamaru is 50/50 just like last time.

Re: MMA
Same. Mas isn't the guy. I still think Covington is. That first fight was great, even going in to the fifth. Colby is smart--he'll have adjusted his gameplan for the second go.Baby Face Finster wrote: ↑05 Jul 2020, 12:29Usman is really unlikeable. If this is true, then let us see it and move on from there. This is pretty big fight to make on seven days notice.punchoutsb wrote: ↑05 Jul 2020, 12:16 Covington also said he'd step in. If they can’t make the rematch then this fight is an ok replacement for 7 days notice. The Asleep Lamps wrote: ↑05 Jul 2020, 13:07If this is true, then let us see it and move on from there. Sounds like pending COVID-19 testing Mas/Usman is a go. I'll be cheering for Mas 100%, but I just can't see him winning this fight. Hope his cardios good to go on such short notice!
Re: MMA
Wasn't aware of the Usman hate
Sure he chirps a bit, but nowhere on the volume or level as a lot of other guys.
I don't think Jorge will beat Usman. Off the bat I don't think he'd beat Colby either, but the genuine animosity he has for him, and it's fuel for motivation makes it a very interesting prospect.

I think they got Tito to be color commentator of those Affliction-branded cards that Fedor headlined, and he was beyond awful. He was like the MMA equivalent of Joe Biden, stumbling over ever other word.
The fact that he ran verbal circles around Ken Shamrock says more about Ken than it does about him.

Marty vs Judas is as high profile a fight you can make that I couldn't care less about.

Re: MMA
Couldn't care less about his chirping, I don't like him simply because his style isn't friendly for my viewing given his tools. You can't argue with his results in the cage, he wins fights but my gosh he is TERRIBLE to watch. I hope Jorge beats him, but I highly doubt that will happen. I just want Colby/Usman 2 sooner rather than later. Burns was also a more intriguing match that Masvidal for Usman. I like Jorge, I just don't think he's an elite WW.Tinnie wrote: ↑05 Jul 2020, 22:13 Wasn't aware of the Usman hate![]()

I can't wait to hear organ call Aldo the goat at 45 before two guys that kicked his ass fight for the belt.
Re: MMA
He's by far the GOAT at 145. Are Berbick or Holmes the best HW just because they beat Ali?Onetimeonly wrote: ↑08 Jul 2020, 19:32 I can't wait to hear organ call Aldo the goat at 45 before two guys that kicked his ass fight for the belt.

Re: MMA
Last time out Rogan was calling Holloway the GOAT at 145, which was absurd as Aldo was fighting on the same card and was a much more dominant champ for a longer period of time.

Re: MMA
Aldo/max are very close. If max managed to regain the belt, I don't think he will, he'd clearly be above Jose. Then McGregor beat both of them. Nothing definitive there. No need for Joe to go on and on every feather fight.jujigatame wrote: ↑09 Jul 2020, 11:41 Last time out Rogan was calling Holloway the GOAT at 145, which was absurd as Aldo was fighting on the same card and was a much more dominant champ for a longer period of time.
