Frazier by KO. Prime Smokin' Joe was levels above Earnie.

I think stylistically, both Joe and Norton are not good against Shavers. Shavers won against Norton in the first round. They need to outbox Shavers with flicking the jabs and moving around, like Holmes and Ali did.

Frazier and Norton also weren't quite the same stylistically and Frazier's chin was better.

I remember watching Shavers-Norton. To be fair to Norton, he was 35 and was not the fighter he had once been.
As for Frazier-Shavers, Shavers might have a chance early since Frazier was often a slow starter. However, the longer it goes, the better for Frazier. Most likely outcome would be tense moments early, but Frazier would eventually stop him in the mid-rounds.

Frazier would kick Earnie's ass.

KO 6 or so.

Maybe earlier. Earnie might land some bombs, but I think Joe is tough enough to battle through, and ultimately he's such a better fighter that the tide is gonna turn in his favor and stay there.
